Dr. Jason Cunningham, DDS
Dr. Jason Cunningham joined his father, Dr. Edgar Cunningham, permanently in 2010, after practicing with him previously from 2000 to 2004. Dr. Edgar Cunningham has practiced in Erwin since 1975. Dr. Jason provides excellence in dentistry to residents of Erwin, Johnson City, and surrounding areas.
He is an outstanding dentist and is known for his gentle touch as well as his sense of humor. He is excellent with children. He is married to Dr. Angela R. Cameron and has two beautiful children, Andrew and Alexis.

Dr. Jason Cunningham graduated from the College of Dentistry at the University of Tennessee Memphis and is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Rachel Hymes, DMD
Dr. Rachel Hymes' favorite part of dentistry is the people! Kindness, building trust and good relationships are so important to her. She loves getting to practice in one of her favorite little towns. She fell in love with Erwin in the early 2000s, spending a lot of time on the Nolichucky River.
Dr. Hymes graduated with her dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She attended Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology. She quickly fell in love with the mountains of East TN where she moved to begin practicing and met her husband. They now reside in Johnson City with their 2 boys and a bunny!
Dr. Hymes is very involved in organized dentistry and is the past president of First District Dental Society. She also is a member of the Tennessee Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and is a fellow in the American College of Dentists. She has recently been awarded the Young Alumni Award for MUSC.
